I am editing a PSA that was originally shot on 35 mm film that was transferred to HD and compressed to Pro Res 422. The piece will stay on video, but they’ll be going back to film for the DI.

When I received the media, it was all one Quicktime file. To make it more manageable, I created subclips of the various takes.

My question is will there be any reason that the subclips might interfere with going back to the original film for the DI? I don’t know if it would mess up keycoding or anything like that…

I’m also wondering if there’s any way to turn subclips back into the the source clip in the sequence, the same way you can with multiclips.

Thanks so much to anyone who replies!
