Hi, First I unlinked the video and audio from a clip. I then replaced the audio track with an audio file recorded from an another source. I then linked the video to the new audio. I now want to make subclips from this newly linked video and audio track but the subclip menu is grayed out. I wanted to make several clips with different in and out points from this newly linked clip but the subclip menu is grayed out. Any suggestions or what I’m doing wrong? Thanks Gary

    nope…

Unfortunately, the “virtual” clips you created based on disparate sources is not able to be subclipped in the standard way.

You could put the clip in a sequence and trim it down, and use the sequences as sub clips.
