  • Subclipping Sequences keeping timecode

    Hi All,

I have a huge sequence which I need to make OMF’s from. Each scene is almost the 2 gig limit for OMF’s. I have tried marking in & out, making a subclip, but it doesn’t keep the timecode where it lies in the sequence. Do I have to manually change the timecode on the subclipped sequence.

I have also tried marking in & out and exporting the OMF’s, but Final Cut seems to want to do the entire track.

Is there a simpler method for me to export parts of the sequence which will keep their timecode in relation to the original sequence?

Thank you in advance for your help and advice.

    Sincerely,

    Randy

Ugh… this does sound like a problem for you.

    Hmmm

Can you chop the sequence up with straight cuts and put them into new sequences?
