Is there software for subtitling in Finalcut pro 7? We have dialogue that has been translatet as markers on the timeline in finalcut, but they can not been seen when the clip is played? We would like to move this “marker-texts” to text files on the timeline of final cut, so they can bee seen when the clip is played?

Manually you can copy text from the markers and past them on text files in the timeline, but this is very time consuming?

Is thre a workflow or program that can automate this copying and pasting?

    Raul,
Not yet, but i’m busy building this into Subbits.
    (my subtitle tool)
The idea came from extended markers in the sources, so you can edit while retaining the subs in correct place. (ideal if you have to edit a foreign language.)

However, perhaps Andreas already has something like this.
    Have a look at spherico.com
(i know he has done ‘something’ with subs and markers, perhaps it is done…)
