  • Stylized Nearest Neighbor Rendering?

I made an animation in adobe flash as a test for my idea. its in mp4 format and is very smooth and clean.

What I want to know if I could put that mp4 in vegas and make its pixels closer to the style of an older video game console look. Like how old ps1 games look.

for example I want it to export it to a standard 1080p resolution but I want it to look like its 256 x 144. just up scaled in a fashion of nearest neighbor rendering so it doesnt get all muddy and instead leaves sharp edges.

Hope I explained what I meant well enough. Thanks

Eh well, there’s always the pixelate effect, I guess it depends if its a 3D or sprite based game. Playstation games had a wobble usually at the edges of the screen if you could find a way to replicate that . Dunno if this is very helpful, but here is someone who made a playstation 1 inspired version of the death stranding trailer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iTgJHU3MB24
