  Stuttery video

  I’m working on a big (2hr) documentary using FCP and and HD Extreme card. FCP crashed hard and had to be reloaded. We’re in a large facility and Production Services reinstalled FCP. The playback through the BM card now has a stutter – like a film look only more so. It seems to increase with the amount of time you play a sequence.

  Here’s the setup:
  Mac Pro
  2 x 2.66
  OSX 10.4.8
  FCP 5.1.4
  NVidia 730
  BM driver 5.7.3r2
  Video is 720p24 DVCPro HD

  I know it’s not exactly the certified setup, but I’d like to know if someone has had a similar problem with a similar setup, and if there’s a work-around. I also tried the 6.3 driver, but I got red and green stripes in the video (we consider that bad).

  Help!
