  Stuttery images with blurr filters

  I’m moving over to CS4 from CS3 and have imported a CS3 project.

  When I try and do smooth 50% gaussian blur to 0% in CS4 to introduce titles together with opacity changes, the blur is very jittery. Also, in some instances I have to use black video with opacity change on video line two as a fade up/down because it’s very jittery on video line 1.

  For all its faults I don’t have this problem on CS3 and I feel I’m going backwards for yet more money.

  I have a Blackmagic Intensity card, Q6700 Quad CPU, 4Gb memory, NVidia 9600GT 512mb card with all the latest drivers.
