Stuttering Motion on pan shots
Hello everybody, I want to share a problem (showing some clips i shot) may be someone enlighten me. I am having disgusting stuttering motion effect only on pan shots. I want some opinion may be solution; is it rolling shutter (the shots aren’t too fast), codec problem (im editing on native codec sequence on FCP7), or something more technical. Please take a look….
The first clip i shot with Sony EX3 (with body lens) at 25fps, 1080P.

Im editing XDCAm EX 1080 25p sequence, which is native
This shot i used Panasonic HVX200 (body lens) at 25fps, 720PN

Again ive edited native DVCPRO 720 25P sequence.
Now please helkp me out somebody pointing whats wrong….

That is what 25p looks like (or 24p)
Shoot 60i or 60p to avoid.

Should i convert xdcam into prores422 60p open into a new sequence & import the xml, will that solve the problem?
Another problem, sometimes while i render some of the speed ramp footage using twixtor other twixtor applied footage requires render, even some times footage applied with MB looks requires render which is a ghostly problem i dont understand, any suggestion friends?
