Stutter playback when rendered
I have a 23.98 Prores 422 1920×1080 quicktime from After Effects which I have placed into a 1440×1080 (16×9) 23.98 final cut sequence, with a quicktime video setting of apple prores 422 (and when in advance it reads as 23.976)…
My problem is that the Prores from After Effects plays back fine in the final cut sequence as long as it’s not rendered, but when I render the file for preview (I have some dissolves) all of a sudden it stutters on playback. I’m not sure why, is it a 23.98 vs 23.976 discrepancy? Or is it that it’s downsizing the 1920×1080 to the 1440×1080 size, I’m not sure why these would cause it to stutter on playback?
Any ideas?

I’m pretty sure you’ll find the .976 to be the issue. Fcp has always abbreviated it, but in fact works in 23.976
