Stutter-free 6k RED editing experience in Premiere?
Hey folks! I’m thinking of shooting a feature on a Dragon at 6k, editing on a 4k timeline in Premiere for a 4k master. Most of my coloring I plan on using Lumetri.
Has anyone done something similar and had a good (stutter-free) editing experience? If so, what were your basic rig specs (CPU, GPU, RAM, storage config)?
How much difference will REDCODE compression ratio make in Premiere world?

Check out Vashi’s blog. He edited a feature in native 6k.
