    So, I guess I’m confused…

I have Adobe Production Studio Premium (AE 7.0, Premiere Pro 2.0)

I have a Premiere project started, I created a new After Effects Comp through Premiere (File – Adobe Dynamic Link – New AE Comp)

my question is – What is the purpose of Rendering in After Effects when I still have to re-render my comp in Premiere?
I noticed that when rendering in AE, in the Render Que at the bottom line, it says “Output To – XXXX Linked Comp 01_1.avi”, but where does that AVI file go? it isn’t in Premiere, my comp in Premiere still has the .aep suffix…

Can someone straighten me out? Thanks guys,

    Aza

Actually, I don’t think you have to render the comp, as Premier will render it for you, but I think it’s best to render it out and import it into Premier as footage, instead of having to render it in Premier.
