Stupid question
good morning or evening fellows,
i am having a hard time with masking an object in Color (see the attached video)

my two difficulties are :
1. trying to make another point but with a straight line between the new and the previous, as you can see it’s tweaked and i can’t put it straight by manipulating it
2. trying to to make a point between two points : it actually creates a new point but not on the line itself, so i can’t modify the curve the point is supposed to do
sorry for this but sometimes DV just make basic things extremely arduous
