Hi…I just upgraded from fcp 5 to studio 6. When I open a project that was edited in fcp5, and put it into 6, weird things are happening on my sequences…it’s like some of the scenes are out of sync — Any ideas, other then reverting back to fcp 5?

Did you do all the updates?

If you have a Kona or BM card you need to uninstall and reinstall those drivers.

Are you working on someone else’s system, otherwise you would know if you installed it, as Macs do not come equipped with video Kona or BM I/O cards.

Click on the apple at the uper left of your screen.
    Click on About This Mac.
    Click on More Info.
    Click on PCI Cards.
That’s where a typicall I/O card will show up. Report back with your finding.

David, How can I tell if I have these cards installed? Still having wierd problems — dropping frames, etc, especially bad on the sequences with “effects” on them…

This computer does not appear to have any PCI cards installed.
