    I am a newbie to Premier Pro and am getting stuck while trying to burn some projects to DVDs. Is there a simple solution to my stuckness? I am using Premier Pro 1.5 on a good IBM laptop and burning to an HP DVD Movie Writer dc5000. The projects are about 30 minutes long. The laptop takes a few hours to do the various preparing and burning work, but then at the end stops with this error message: “Recording error: Could not complete last command: Device Error Sense Code (52102) — Invalid address for write incremental streaming write (DVD Err, 336130.” Anyone know what the problem is? I’ve tried different kinds of DVDs and am using what the system suggests. I have successfully burned longer projects than this in the past, and even a few times I have succeeded with these projects. But now nothing at all is working. I don’t know if I just need to tweak something, or if my HP burner has a hardware problem, or what? Any suggestions for solutions? Thanks.

    Can you burn anything to a DVd using your burning app? If yes, try reinstalling Premiere as you possibly installed some app recently that can burn DVDs, changing the registry.

    DVD burners come with software on a CD that can burn data to DVDs. Other apps can also burn discs, like Photoshop Elements, I Tunes, ProShow Producer, Audition, Discus, Ulead Photo Explorer, Premiere Elements, Camtasia…just a few from my desktop.

    Okay, many thanks. I’ll give this all a try. Thanks for helping out newcomers like myself. ;-}
