    Hi all,

I have a huge image file:

    Format: .TIF

    Dimensions: 33871 x 14953 pixels

    File size: Almost 2GB

Whenever I try to import this into my project, it tells me “Photoshop file exceeds image bounds limit” (error attached). My question is, how can I increase the image bounds limits? I am able to work with this image in Photoshop no problem, having only 32GB RAM.

In case you would need to know what the image is, it’s a Adobe Firefly generated composite image that started as a 500x500px image and then was generated to its current dimensions.

After Effects can’t handle images beyond 30,000 pixels in either dimension. Maybe you can scale it down a little in Photoshop, or split it into a couple of tiles in Photoshop and composite them back together in After Effects.

    Reduce the file size.
