I’ve created a series of paths in Illustrator and imported them as separate layers into AE. How do I stroke/animate colors on the path? I’ve created paths in AE and stoked them with the Vegas effect, but I’m not able to stroke the imported paths from Illustrator. Thanks in advance.

I assume they are now masks? If not you can copy/paste the strokes from Illustrator to AE and they will paste as masks. Once they are masks, just use the stroke effect. You can animate the start and end point. If you want a stroke that tapers and can be moved in 3D space with some 3D distortion capabilities then you can use Trapcode’s “3d stroke”. trapcode.com
