Striping drives
Hi,
I have two 500GB LaCie external d2 drives and like to stripe them. Do I need to install another pci card firewire 800 into my G5?
Or is just one 800 port enough?Thanks

Check out this barefeats.com test for the exact setup you’re asking about. The 2 channel performance is much better: 76MB reads vs 113MB and 52MB writes vs 88MB
