I used to be able to stretch the video in the program window: I could make the image bigger or smaller, by “physically” stretching it, in the program window. It also allowed me to rotate the image. However, I tried to do this recently, but the “markers” for stretching, were gone. I have spent a couple hours trying to figure out which setting to click, to allow me to stretch and rotate, crop and zoom the image but I have gotten nowhere. any help is greatly appreciated.

This might sound stupid, but maybe you have your program monitor zoomed in a tiny bit and the wireframe markers are there, but just off the edge of the screen? Right click on the image in your program monitor, click on magnification and click on “fit”.

Otherwise, I can’t think of what it would be. Clicking on the program monitor image or the word “motion” under the effect controls tab in the preview monitor brings up the wireframe controls fine for me.

If you highlight a clip in the timeline and this clip is superimposed by another clip you will see no handles in the Program window. You need to highlight the clip in the Source Monitor, then the handles will appear.

No, I did that and it didn’t work. I’m thinking a setting is off. It’s weird because it always worked before, and very easily. I could trim the shot, and enlarge it and make it smaller. But right now I can’t do anything to it.
