    Hi,

so I’m having some trouble with rubber.
I’ve got a scene where I need to stretch rubber over an object, and at the moment I’m trying to use cloth as it’s worked on something similar before. My problem is that after a certain distance the mesh goes nuts and warps straight through the object.

I’m trying out the collision deformer at the moment but that’s also not working the way I want it too.

Short of manually morphing it, does anyone know a way I can get this to work?

    Cheers,

    Nick

Probably increase Sub Sampling in Cloth Tag/Expert, keep Iterations low (1), try not use 0 in Stiffness and Flexion but there are limits with cloth, stretch too much and it will explode.
