  • Stretch the timeline and all keyframes with it?

I have completed a nice timeline, but realised too late I need to add a few images to the comp. There is enough effects that are keyframed that this proves time-consuming and problematic if I move everything over so I was wondering if there is a way to move all keyframe from a certain point over even if they are all on separate layers?

    So for example:

I have 10 minute comp with 30 layers, including camera, null etc. all timed out nicely. At the 5 minute mark, I need to add another picture and about 30 seconds, how can I take all of the info from the proceeding layers and their keyframes and move them over to the right 30 seconds?

    I hope this makes sense.

Though you’re still going to have some tedious work ahead of you, Jeff Almasol’s Scooter script might help. It creates a little panel for moving multiple keyframes, In and Out points, and other things in time.

A cheat might be to precompose your whole comp, scrub to the part where you want to add the new images, select the precomp layer and hit ctrl+shift+d to split it in two. Then add the images at the split and move the 2nd half of the precomp so that it begins after the images.

    Will this work?
