    Hi all,

When i copy an illustrator path into the postion property, it creates a series of keyframes that are linked and can be adjusted as a group, which is really handy.

Can i make these kind of groups with my own keyframes for different properties?

Love to know what you call this.

    Thanks in advance!

These are called “Roving” keyframes and are only available for spatial properties such as position. To convert a keyframe that’s “locked to time” to a roving keyframe, twirl down the arrow for the position property and uncheck the radio box under the keyframe in the timeline or select the keyframe and from the Animation menu choose Keyframe Interpolation, you’ll see the third option concerns roving. Keep in mind that the first and last keyframes cannot rove.

Thank you john, that is fantastic! I’m going to use roving keyframes in every comp.

Have a great day… or night!
