Please can anyone help? I am looking to produce a daily streamed videos as part of the output of a 10 day shoot. I work for a large not-for-profit organisation that has not used streaming video before, but now wants to try this method of information sharing among its multinational employees. I need to find a robust streaming server, and I like google video, but the organisation has blocked it for internal use.

What other streaming server can anyone suggest? Free if possible.

    Sorry for ignorant question!

Can you use YouTube? You can even block the videos from being viewed by the general public, only by the users you specify. It’s pretty quick and 100% free.

That’s a good idea, but my organisation bans You Tube and Google for internal use because we have limited bandwidth access – and our clients and partners often have even less because they’re based in developing countries world wide.

I was looking to host just the html “frame” on our site, and stream the video from another (hopefully free) server like You Tube or Google – are there others?

    Cheers
