    Hi all,

The short version of this question is, when I am manipulating encoder settings in Compressor, there are four options for streaming: None, Fast Start, Fast Start-Compressed Header and hinted streaming. Are these simple to explain, or is there a tutorial someone can point me to that explains these?

The long version of the question is I am trying to make digital HD deliveries to Crawford (ATL) for broadcast for TV. I edit on Mac OS 10.5.8, 2×2.66 Dual Intel, Final Cut 6.0.6. Source footage is
XDCam 1920×1080, 23.98, sequence settings match source footage. My digital output has to be
    H264 Codec/Video Bitrate 30 Mb’s CBR, 29.97 fps, Frame Height 1080, Frame width 1920, audio 48 k
(no file type suggested but I’m picking Linear PCM, per another post by Craig). Field Dominance is Upper field first. I think I have all of this worked out but I don’t know what to do with this streaming setting. Pic
of settings attached-Streaming is set to “None” currently. Also, this is my first round at this so if you notice any bonehead settings, I’d appreciate the feedback. Thanks

    Thanks! Cat Mayville
