  • Streamclip not showing ProRes 422 LT, HQ, or Proxy

Posted by Charles Ford on December 15, 2010 at 8:24 pm

I use Streamclip 1.9.2 on my mac to convert my 7D H264 files to ProRes (proxy) to edit on FCP with no problem. My daughter on the other hand, who is in film school, has Streamclip 1.9.2 on her mac and has been trying to convert her 5D files to ProRes as well. When she goes to the “Compression” drop down there are only two ProRes options available, both of them are ProRes 442. There is no LT, HQ or Proxy options. Any solutions?

You evidently have FCS3 installed while she has only FCS2.
