strange when rendered
while stepping thru a gradient wipe frame by frame, the effect looks fine – once rendered, the effect becomes wonky…its got a greenish hue to it and looks corrupt…
i am using a png file created in motion as the grayscale gradient…its actually the canned smoke effect from motion, exported as a png – current frame…
sequence settings are hdv…footage captured basic hdv…
working in fcp 6.0.5

How are you monitoring the output?

thru fcp sequence window on computer screen…are u thinking i need to be viewing on a broadcast monitor…
