Strange watery effect after color corretion?
I’ve got a person standing in front of a window talking to camera.
I used two Color Corrector 3-way filters (one with limiter) to improve the picture, i.e. by boosting the person’s exposure, and dampening down the brightness from the window so that it isn’t completely bleached out. I’ve also added a Broadcast Safe filter.
The above looks OK except when I press play, even after rendering. I get a strange ‘watery effect’ on some parts of the picture (not the white parts). By ‘watery effect’, I mean similar to the moving pattern you get under a bridge caused by sunlight bouncing off a river below. The effect is also there when not playing, only less noticable because it isn’t moving.
This is ProRes taken from AVCHD if that’s relevant.

p.s. Happy New Year folks! And hope deadlines didn’t interfere with the season to be jolly!
