Strange vertical lines covering image
Just shot some footage on a BMPCC4k that looks fine in the camera, but when I try to bring it into resolve it’s all messed up (see pictures.)
I’ve tried:
Quitting and restarting
ejecting the and replugging in the media source
Creating a new project
Looking for folks online with the same problem (yielding no matches)The footage is still fine on the camera and I can even see it playback fine in the thumbnails, but whenever it’s in the viewer it’s covered in white lines. When I press play it clears up a little bit, but is still unusable. It doesn’t matter if it’s in the editor, the color corrector, or anywhere else in resolve it plays back the same way. When I open the RAW file in image viewer the preview appears fine. I shot some footage with the same settings a few weeks back and had no problems, BUT now all of that footage is covered in lines as well. When I export from resolve the exported file is also messed up.
I updated to Catalina in between and I’m suspicious that the update may have screwed things up.
I was shooting in:
4k
Blackmagic RAW
Constant bitrate 3:1
23.98 fps
