Strange Transcoding Error.
I’m currently working on a large DVD, with Encore 1.5. My files come from 2 sources. Half are mov’s from an Avid and half are mov.s from After Effects (all motion menus). I finished this DVD a month ago, and now we’re revising it by adding a new video segment and motion menu. In trying to import the new files, Encore wants to re-transcode all of the files that came from After effects for the entire project. The Avid files are fine. As they are re-transcoding, I get a un identified error error. All I want to do is re-imprt one new video file, and one new motion menu. In the transcode status column in the project window, Encore has all the After Effects files labeled as “Don’t Transcode” The Avid files are labelled as “Transcoded”. I do a preview and the After Effects files play the way they did before. Any ideas?
