strange thing with RED!
I made an animation using black illustrator shapes and set the compositions background to white – it renders off fine and looks clean and sharp.
was asked me to change the background to red – it seems to render fine as well but final cut pro sees it as very pixely, but the uncompressed quicktime animation looks fine.
also if i try in render the red version from after effects at 50% it looks very pixelated – do the same with white (or blue even) and it looks fine… ??!! this has taken me the last full day trying to work it out by tweaking, re-rendering, tweaking re-rendering, etc etc – not knowing what the ****’s going on.
I just think the computer just doesn’t like bright red, nor do I but thats what the client want!
