    Strange thing about vid rate

    I have a prores clip that the FCP vid rate column tells me is 29.97, but when I open the same clip in QT the info window says it is 23.98.

    Anyone know why?

    Quicktime is notoriously unreliable at reporting clip info. FCP is much more reliable.

    Maybe? It was canon 5d footage shot in a cinematic mode/style
