strange text alignment problem

Notice the -175 value in your baseline shift (lower left of the character palette)? That’s half the problem… The other half is probably in your Paragraph Palette, make sure all of those values are zeroed.

it’s happening with all fonts I tried

and i HAVE to make the alignment, otherwise the text is out of the upper border of the screen..

rest is set to zero

If I radically adjust the anchor point, as i’ve done here:

then I can bring the box back to it’s text..

Does anyone know how to fix this? I’m having the exact same issue and I’ve googled and searched these forums to no avail. To the original poster of this thread, did you ever figure it out?

I also have this problem – started happening suddenly about six months ago, and I am at my wit’s end!!!! I’ve obviously returned all text settings to default, checked my baseline shift etc etc (and even checked super/subscript options!) – Please heeeeeeeeeelp 🙂
