    Hi,
I’ve had several slowdowns with AE 7, and we’re trying to narrow it down. I think it might be related to using Photoshop CS2 at the same time. In my searching, I’ve notice this weird item in my task manager processes when I get hung up. “Adobelm_cleanup.0001” There are several instances of this running. Does anyone know what this might be, or why it could be causing hangs?

It’s the license manager that checks if your program is activated. You should only have a maximum of 2 instances (one for the video tools, the other for the CS suite; because they use slightly different versions you can’t condense it down into one as of yet) Multiple instances can just mean that somehow the install is damaged and the process may not find a DLL or something else it needs and it tries to start over and over again. Other than a re-install using the “Repair” option, I have no idea how to solve it.

    Thanks,
Is this actively doing something to check licensing? I would assume this happens on startup, and then would be finished?
