Strange renaming of clips
Hi
I´ve searched but found no one else with the same problem
In FCP 7 my some clips get renamed by the same name as the sequence they have been edited into.
Also – when I copy a clip from one timeline to another, they behave like nested clips from that timeline instead of individual clips.
Thsi was no problem in FCP 6.
I have a clean install (New Mac Pro) and updated to 7.0.1Can anyone help or confirm any similar problems?

I can confirm I don’t see this behavior at all on the same setup…
Post the source of your video files… what format are they and what is the sequence set to be?

It’s happening to me too. I’d really like to know what’s happening, and how to fix it.
