    anyone hear of this:
i created a quicktime test movie in a 2d animation program at 29.97, and when i import it into an ae project, ae wants to read it as ‘30.27 fps’, which i’ve never encountered, even doing this kind of thing a lot.
another curiosity: if i open said quicktime test IN quicktime, no frame rate is given in ‘get info’. i created the test in a 2d program called mirage, which is sometimes buggy, but i’ve never seen this before. in ae i opted to interpret the movie as 29.97 and it seems to work ok. i’m starting a big live action/animation project so i’d love to hear anyone’s thoughts on this.

by the way, i’m running qt pro 7.4.1. so the render issues aren’t issues anymore. i’ve been delaying the 7.4.5 update to see if anyone’s issuing warnings, but so far it sounds fine, no?

    thanks,
    charlie canfield
