Strange problem: I cant open after effects after I hide it
I recently got AE 7 installed on my computer. If I hide the program to work on something else, it is impossible to get it back. I end up having to force quit and restart AE!
Never had this problem with AE 6.5
Any solutions?

If it’s windows then try CTRL+ALT+Del to pull up the control window… then try to select AE then click on switch to. it’s pulled it back onto my screen for me.
not sure what the mac equilivent is.

G5 dual 2 ghz

This is a bug.
Double-click on the project name (at the top centeer of the window) to hide AE, use cmd-ctrl-H to hide it, or use cmd-tab to switch between open apps.

I have the same problem with Adobe Acrobat, but haven’t had it with AE (yet). I believe it’s an OSX bug, myself. Workaround? I really have none (I usually OPTION-click the desktop to hide the current app, so I’ll try the keyboard shortcut in the future). With Acrobat, I frequently use Expose and just move around it…
