Strange occurrance and a work around….
Doesn’t make any sense as to why this is happening…. but I share this with others in case you encounter the same thing…..
All CS6 programsHD Edit in Premiere (1080i capture from MXO2) No Chapters entered in Premiere
Dynamic Link to Encore.
Made simple Motion Menu with 4 selections… Menu set as First Play
Imported video for Motion Menu and linked. Rendered menu in player… All OK
In timeline, added chapters… total is 7
configured menus as:
Menu 1 Points to Timeline Chapter 1
Chapter 2 points to Menu 2
Menu 2 Points to Timeline Chapter 3
Chapter 4 Points to Menu 3
Menu 3 Points to Chapter 7
Timeline end points to Menu 4
Menu 4 points to Chapter 5
Chapter 6 points to Menu DefaultThis works, but doesn’t allow for NEXT operation on BR playback of Menu 3…. (It Did do successful Next on Play test prior to BR Build… by the way…..)
So….
I go back into Encore Project and add Chapter 8 to timeline, So Next operation would happen on Burned BR Menu 3What happens on BR Play Test, Prior to BR Burn or ISO, is Chapter 8 is not ‘seen’ (Pointing back at menu), and instead PLAY’s from timeline After where Chapter 8 was placed!!!
Nothing I tried: Re-pointing Menu items, timeline, Rebooting worked…. Everything is routed correctly, but it simply doesn’t play correctly….
So I went back to Premiere and re-dynamic linked to a REVISED name Project, and re-built the BR again….
Added 8 Chapter stops, imported menu from older version, re-linked everything…
Then it worked correctly on the Software test play…?????
