I’ve encountered a rather strange problem involving making subclips from markers in FCP 5.1, and am wondering if anyone else has seen this. If I create a series of markers, then copy them into a new bin (creating independant subclips) every once & a while, two of the clips will be created with the same name (ie. I’ll get two “Marker 3 from ‘clipname'”s)

They’ll be different clips, containing different media from different parts of the source media, but they’ll be tied together (ie. changing one name changes the other).

The solution to this is pretty easy, I just create a new timeline, pull the subclips in & make them independant clips, but it is weird and am wondering if I’m the only one that’s bumped into this (and if there’s something that causes this).
