    Hi There.
I am running 3 setups converting legacy DVCAM and DVCPRO tapes to ProRes files for archiving.
2 x Ki Pros are being fed SD SDI inputs and 1 x Ki Pro an SD Component input.
All decks are being monitored with a composite monitor (sony 9044s)
We have seen several times a strange horizontal picture shift, from left to right on all three set ups. It quickly shifts about halfway across the screen then jumps back, similar to a vertical sync roll.
At first we would stop and check the section back, but it was not recorded onto the drive, nor could we make it do it again at the same place.
This is a continuation of a job from earlier in the year when we did not see this problem at all. The only difference is we are now running 3.1 software.
ok so we know it does not record this anomaly but a client might get jumpy if they saw this when hiring out a deck.
    Has anyone any ideas please?
    Many thanks Phil Wade
