    Hi!

I hope you guys can help me out a bit!

I have a big After Effects project with around 35 Full HD compositions in it. I wanted to render all of these compositions at once and I made a watch folder render package and tried to render out the comps on a Mac Pro, 8 core, 8 gb of ram. Each composition has two render outputs, a low-res version and a Full HD version. The project was first created on a windows computer. Each composition has HDV footage in it.

So here’s the problem: Some of my renders seem to have a 0,5 second piece of the composition (which doesn’t belong there) at the beginning of the rendered comp.

I checked all of the compositions and they don’t have those pieces at the beginning when they’re in After Effects.

I think this has something to do with the available memory after rendering some compositions….. Could this have something to do with the max ram cache size?

But why put a wrong piece of the composition at the beginning of the render????

I hope there is a solution because rendering out every composition by hand isn’t really an option because the whole project has around 120 compositions.

    Thanks for helping!

Could you not split the render queues into a few projects and then render out each project…I have found that I have had issues in the past when trying to render upwards of around 25 items in one render queue.

    Regards
