Strange Error on startup
Hi all,
I am wondering if anyone has come across the following error: EXCEPTION:’OMFIHPDomain_ERROR_CLOSING_Domain An error occured validating the media directory’. On startup of the Avid software, it scans the drive this error is occuring on then gives us this message. We cannot access the media files on this drive but have verified that they are there. The system is an HP Workstation XW8000 3.06Ghz Xeon Processor with 3gigs or RAM, running Avid Xpress Pro HD v.5.1.2
Have runned Norton Disk and windows doctor, have deleted the 2 OMFI database files on the affected drive and tried to rebuild, have run a virus scan on the system and still no joy. If anyone out there has any ideas, we would greatly appreciate your help as we have a tight deadline to meet. Thanks in advance for your help.
