Out of nowhere an annoying loud electronic help guide type voice talks every time i touch the mouse or the keyboard and says things like: “final cut new window”. “Scene A59”, etc.

How do I make it go away? It’s impossible to edit with it.

These are voices in your head. Be thankful the haven’t told you to use a star wipe.

You have inadvertantly turned on Voice Over. See universal access in system prefs.

hahahaha … off topic here … but i turned it on at a BestBuy one day and sat back and laughed at everyone who touched the computer that talked to them.

Then my wife gave me a look and I turned it back off … my inner child sometimes comes out.

Yes, this inspired me to turn it on my assistant editors computer. It’s good for a cheap laugh!
