When I apply an effect, like a dissolve for instance, the luminance of the shot gets boosted up for the duration of the effect, then pops back to normal at the end. Has anyone else encountered this, and if so, how did you stop it from happening?

    Cheers.

Sounds like you need to render that effect.

What kind of media/codec are you using?

The stuff was digitized from HD Cam through a Blackmagic Decklink into the Photo Jpeg codec.

And your timeline matches that? Photo-Jpeg?

Does it happen with any other codecs?
