    Strange DV problem???

    Hi there,

    So I have the Panasonic AG DV2500 deck and I am able capture footage just fine. For some reason I am getting an error from FCS 3 (unable to locate FW device) when I launch FCP (7.0).

    So I can capture fine from the deck, but I can’t output to the deck with print to video via FW.

    Anyone seen this?

    Hi david,
    Really strange and no point to recall you to check your setting.
    Try to open the capture capture window to establish communication with the desk.
    If you get the “Device control OK”, the Print to Tape should work.

    I did that but then it does not record on the deck.
