strange delay in PPRO CC 2015 when PPRO not active window
I’m using PPRO CC 2015 and having a strange delay each time I’m returning to Premiere from a different window. For example, when I click on a different window (in windows explorer) and then returning to work on premiere the program just freezes for 5 seconds and then come back to life.
It happens every time. Obviously with rebooting or any other solution didn’t work. The computer is pretty new, I7, 32GB RAM, GPU is GTX970, c: drive where the SW is installed is 250GB SSD of Samsung.
Another interesting thing I’ve seen is when I monitored what happened when I click back the premiere window, I see a ‘spike’ in the task manager monitor. See the picture attached. I’ve no problem with any other software and I have a few software installed (heavy one also..).
It seems as if the Premiere is reaching for the disk for reading or something and it takes 5 seconds. Is this something you’ve heard of?
