    Hi,

I’ve searched high and low but couldn’t find anyone else with a similar problem. I’ve got some clips in premiere pro which i’m scaling down and moving around, the footage is 1080i50, so when i scale it down the interlacing becomes horribly apparent. The problem is, deinterlacing it using field options doesn’t seem to work, it still looks wobbly. I’ve tried all the other options in the field options menu, with and without the reverse fields checkbox on…

    any ideas?

Do you have your preview format set to render fields? And, of course, are you previewing on a b’cast monitor that supports interlaced material?

You may significantly improve your results by slowing the footage to 50%, evenly separating each field to be the source for a new frame.

You’re also scaling the frame size as well?
