Strange black flashes
I do a lot of chroma keying using Ultra an then I bring the files into Vegas 7 for editing. Lately I keep getting these what looks like missing frames but when I get up close I don’t see any missing frames. To make matters worse they keep popping up as I edit. Anyone have any idea what’s happening? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Bob

This question comes up once in a while, and I’m convinced it’s hardware-related, because it cannot be consistently repro’d.
When you do a RAM render, do you see those black flashes? If you render to a new track, do you see those flashes?
Try lowering the acceleration on your vid card for starters.Douglas Spotted Eagle

This is getting really weird. I copied the project and pasted it into another instance of Vegas and the black flashes disappeared in the new instance. When I went back to the original the b lack flashes were gone from that too. Thanks very much for your response. Bob
