Continuing from part 1, after moving the audio files back into their normal folders and re-linking them, I started to work on the next scene. I immediately started notice various strange things. First some of my merged clips that I had synched sound with on separate sequence was suddenly missing right side of the two mono tracks. When I went the source sequence it was there, but using the merged clip in the master sequence on audio track was essentially blank. It was there but the waveform was just a serious of dots. Two the master sequence would take forever to refresh. Usually I would have to zoom out in order for the screen to return to normal. If I would open another window and move it on the screen it would leave ghost images. Same would happen with the time indicator on the sequence. You would just see multiple lines and it scrolled through the sequence. So I did a quick save and closed down. Shut everything off and unplugged. Started back up, once everything was loaded and before I did anything I notice the box “Project items need to indexed”, was growing. So I waited to it finished and started again, same results. Tried to go back to earlier version of the project but I only saved five and they were all from the same day all the similar results. So now I am really worried. This project is to big start over again but I think there is something serious hosed up. Any suggestions?

Sounds like you may have a corrupt project.

Try creating a new project and import the old project into it (just drag old project file to the new project’s Project Pane). This almost always works for me.
