    strange behavior in the browser

    Hi all
    Can anyone help me sort out some strange behavior in FCP browser. I am just starting to edit a short film and have over 1000 clips in the browser waiting to be sorted. But there are a few clips at the bottom of the browser window that are persistently displayed as offline, the weird thing is that the number of offline clips varies depending on whether the browser is in list mode-nothing offline, small icon-some offline, large icon- several offline. Click on th icon to bring up the viewwer and they are fine. It just seems FCP has a problem displaying the icon correctly.
    Any ideas.

    sorry, forgot to add that I am using FCP HD
