    Hi All,

    Here’s the scoop:

I received a finished project to tweak with the notice that there had been some strange issues on playback of the DVDs. There was no problems I could hear on the timeline (48 khz, everything standard), and when I made a DVD and tested it on several players, again, no problems.

However, after I made a new batch of DVDs, certain viewers complained of the same issues as before (ie the audio drops out at certain points, but sometimes only dialogue but not BG Music). Here’s the strange twist, some people reported the same thing happening on an online version that I uploaded to a site, though only if they weren’t using headphones (again, only on some computers).

It makes no sense to me whatsoever. I’ve never heard of anything like it.

    Any light to shed?

    Much appreciated,
    David

It may be that some of your audio in your timeline is only on one audio track and not across both. Many people set up their tv or computer incorrectly, not realising that they have only plugged in one audio channel. If this is the case, they will not be hearing any audio on the missing track.
