  • STP wierd audio playback since Intensity Pro

    Hi

I’ve had my Intesity Pro installed in my MacPro for a couple of weeks now and I’m going along fine with it now.

It is great for Budget monitoring via my Panasonic 32″ LCD TV.

However, Soundtrack Pro (STP) has gone wierd since the installation.

In FCP, I’m in the timeline, highlight the audio track -> Control Click -> send to Soundtrack Pro Audio File project -> STP fires up and loads my audio file in a new (stap) project and I’m ready for sound clean up / tweaking.

I hit play and the audio sounds as though I have 10 x reverb plugins on the track or I’m listening to the audio in a 3′ water pipe, or highly processed audio file.

Now I’m not saying that this is a BM Intensity Pro problem, it’s just that it’s only stated since I installed the card.

Everything else with any audio works, Logic, FCP, Safari, iTunes, DVD player, anything with audio involved works.

In fact, the Apple sound library even works in STP, it’s just audio exported from FCP into STP thats sounding horrible

Has anyone else experienced anything like this ?

    Any Ideas would be welcome.

    Cheers

    michael
